Butch Dellecave was an educator and counselor in the Connetquot Central School District for 30 years, a top rated basketball official, the founder and director of the Smithtown Basketball Summer League for 35 years, the driving force behind the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame, and our inspiration and role model for the Dellecave Educational Institute for Professional Development. His generosity, sense of humor, and perpetual smile will forever be remembered by all those who knew him.
