At the Dellecave Educational Institute, the Butch Dellecave Foundation Inc. has been able to:

• Provide Scholarship Grants to the tournament Most Valuable Players "Male and Female" annually at the Butch Dellecave Memorial Basketball Tournament held at Smithtown High School.
• Co–sponsor the Suffolk County PAL Butch Dellecave Memorial Summer Basketball League. In its 45th summer, 24 varsity basketball teams competed in July and August. Over 325 student–athletes participated in what continues to be Suffolk County's premier summer basketball tournament.
• Each year, the Suffolk Sports Hall of Fame in conjunction with Newsday, presents the Dellecave Award to the male and female student–athletes of the year in Suffolk County. The Butch Dellecave Foundation Inc. was able to provide a one thousand dollar scholarship grant to each of the award recipients.
