The Dellecave Educational Institute for Professional Development is proud to announce that we will be offering Graduate-level professional development courses with Dowling College. Theses courses will be offered on the Dowling Campuses in Oakdale, Melville and Brookhaven.  An list of the courses offered during the Spring 2012 semester is listed below. 

 We expect to offer a full slate of grad-level courses with Dowling College by the start of our Summer 2012 semester.  A list of over sixty additional courses is listed below.  The course numbers and the Degree Program the course is a part of will be added over the next few weeks.  All courses are part of a degree program but are non-matriculating.  We invite you to keep apprised of Dowling College course additions by viewing our web site in the coming weeks and by joining our mailing/e-mailing list so that you receive our Summer 2012 catalogue.

EDU 699 LG    Communicating, Collaborating, Partnering and Community Building for School District Leaders

January 17, 2012April 17, 2012

12 Sessions at the

Bay Shore Campus

No classes: Feb. 21,  2012  or April 10, 2012

(in case of cancellation due to snow a class will be added April 24)  

Students will be provided with verbal and written communication models in order to develop the skills necessary to effectively interact and communicate an educational vision leading to the achievement of State learning standards to school board members, district and school staff and the community. This course is required for degree candidates seeking certification as a School District Leader.

EDU 698:   Internship in School Administration and Supervision
January 2012 – May 2012

There is orientation meeting on January 11, 2012 at 5pm in room 201 at the Bay Shore Campus.  Graduation packets will be discussed as well as the internship program for the Spring 2012 semester. 

Students are provided with a closely supervised experience in applying the principles and concepts acquired through course work. The internship takes place in an educational organization under the supervision of a practicing school/district administrator and a Touro faculty member. Theories and concepts will be applied to practical situations that are presented to the administrative and supervisory practitioners. Candidates seeking certification as school district leaders will be required to address district issues in a district office during EDU 698 SDL.

Endicott College Transcript Request Process Has Changed

ENDICOTT COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS
NEW TRANSCRIPT REQUEST OPTIONS

Online or by Mail
Endicott College now provides on-line transcript request service when paying by credit/debit card.  If paying by cash or check you need to print out the request form (request form or Wilson Dellacave Professional request form) from our webpage and mail it in with your payment.

  • Endicott College will no longer accept any request by fax
  • We will no longer process credit cards here at the school they must be processed through Verisign online
  • No request will be processed without payment

Complete the On-line Request:

  • Select Dellecave from the drop down menu for ‘Courses Taken Through’
  • Then enter the course numbers and titles for up to 3 of the last classes completed.
  • Enter your onctact information.
  • Under Additional Information enter you Social Security number, date of birth and maiden name if you are married.  If you received a grade report from Endicott College your Endicott Student ID number is listed and you can enter it here. 
  • Complete the contact information of the recipients of your Transcript Request, your School District for example. 

The Iona College Transcript Request process has changed…

Iona College has changed their Transcript Request Process.

To request an official transcript you will have to sign up with the National Student Clearinghouse. You will be able to track the status of your Transcript Request on the site as well.

  • Click on the Button for ‘Order or Track a Transcript’.
  • Select Iona College from the list and click submit.
  • Read the instructions and when you are ready, click the Order button at the bottom of the screen.

Step One
In the first step you will be asked for your personal and contact information. For Years of attendance, please include the years you may have taken Iona classes through Dellecave.

Step Two
In the second step you will be asked to enter the recipient information. Under delivery options, then Processing options, select ‘After Grades are posted’. Then include the course number(s) and title(s) in the Special Instructions field.

Step Three
In the next step you will confirm the order information.

Step Four
In the next step you enter credit card information for payment..

Signed Consent
and the last step is Signed Consent. Please make sure fax or mail your signed consent form or your transcript will not be processed.

Please keep in mind the following:

  • A transcript will not be issued if you have a hold on your account.
  • There is a charge of $3.00 for each copy of your transcript and an additional online processing fee. You can pay by credit card on the National Student Clearinghouse website.
  • Transcripts can be sent overnight, additional rates starting at $20.
  • Please be sure that you fax or mail your signature form. Iona College will not release the transcript without a signature.
